YZ CPA My Case

For existing clients of YZ CPA LLC, a U.S. tax firm in Austin, Texas. After signing in, the client's AI assistant can read their own tax case: where it stands, which documents are still needed, questions and messages from the firm, the files the firm received, and invoices. It is read-only: the assistant cannot upload, sign, pay or change anything. Not a client? The public calculators are in US Tax Estimator (no sign-in).
Sign-in
- Add the connector in the assistant; it opens the YZ CPA sign-in page on my.yz-cpa.com.
- Enter the email address the firm writes to (the primary taxpayer's or the spouse's) and the 6-digit code sent to it (10 minutes, single use).
- If the address is on more than one household, pick one; then allow access. The page lists what the assistant can and cannot read.
- Access lasts 30 days. Disconnect in the assistant at any time, or ask the firm (info@yz-cpa.com) to revoke it; the firm can see and end every connection.
OAuth 2.1 authorization code with PKCE (S256); Client ID Metadata Documents or dynamic client registration; metadata at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp/client; scope case:read; access tokens 1 hour, rotating refresh tokens. Redirects are accepted only for Claude, Meta AI and loopback addresses.

The signed-in client's tax cases with YZ CPA: tax year and where each one is (engagement, documents & preparation, CPA review, your signature, filed), newest first. Start here.

Documents YZ CPA still needs from the signed-in client for their open cases (the checklist items not yet received).

Questions and messages list_my_questions_and_messages
Questions YZ CPA asked the signed-in client (answered or not), notes on checklist items, and the message thread with the firm (most recent 15). Reading here does not mark messages read.

Files the firm received list_received_documents
Files YZ CPA has received from the signed-in client: name, type, tax year and date, newest first (up to 50). Names only, never contents.

My invoices list_my_invoices
YZ CPA's invoices to the signed-in client: number, what it is for, tax year, amount, amount received, due date, and whether it is paid. Paying happens outside the assistant.

Data handling
- Returned: case progress and tax years, checklist item names, questions and the message thread with the firm, names and dates of files received, invoice numbers, amounts and payment status.
- Never returned: Social Security numbers, address, phone, file contents, tax return figures, staff notes, or any upload, signing, invoice or download link.
- The firm keeps its usual records (sign-ins and each read are logged with time and IP, for security). What the assistant reads is sent to that assistant and handled under its privacy policy.
